Before Louboutin’s, there were Blahniks and yet till today he still manages to sit in every chic woman’s closet. The mere sight of his shoes brings out the Carrie Bradshaw in many women. Yes I’m talking about the one and only Manolo Blahnik, and today I had the great pleasure of meeting him, and let me just say it was a dream come true. I felt like I was in a daze and I have no words to explain my experience, but I’ll let a few pictures do the explaining for me.
I want, I want!!!!
Since we are talking about Manolos, here are
my fav. pair of Manolo's, im a sucker for everything indian inspired!!
After meeting Mr. Blahnik, I walked around to take in the atmosphere and take a few pictures. Well I was blinded by this beautiful necklace, I looked up and saw the women wearing it and was amazed by her style as well. Never had I met a woman who could pull off leopard print legging and smiley face shoes with such elegance. I had to take her picture, I waited around and finally got a chance to ask her if I could and it turns out she was Australian jewelry designer Margot McKinney (http://margotmckinney.com). Her designs took my breath away and I made a promise to myself right then and there that one day I will own a piece of jewelry designed by her.
Jewelry pieces by Margot McKinney
This one was the one that caught my eye, it has tiny diamonds in between the pearls and it shines in all the right places.
The models were all wearing her jewelry
I think Leapord print was in the air everywhere, my sister Rozy decided to add a pop of it with her shoes.
I loved her embellished cardigan!!! It was from White House/Black Market
Lace and Patent Leather worn to perfection, I loved her Valentino shoes and bag!!
How great are these shoes, sporty and dressy all the same time
I wore a Hanes white-t with a vintage dress
