Vintage shopping is my new favorite hobby; I can spend hours and hours looking for hidden gems. But if you’re not a 100% sure if vintage is your thing, then I would advise you to start off small with little pieces here and there and then work your way up to a full on commitment. Always remember that vintage is not a costume, don’t wear a single decade head to toe or it will end up looking like a Halloween costume. Instead take the best part of each decade and make it work for today. Also be open-minded, go ahead and try new things you will be surprised at what may look great on you. One thing for sure with all types of clothing is, always stay true to your style!
Here are a few great vintage finds my sister and I found!!!!
Top-Vintage, Blazer-Vintage, Skirt-Forever21,Shoes-Gifted, Peacock brooch- Vintage
Top-Club Monaco, Skirt-Vintage, Shoes-BCBG, Belt-Vintage

ReplyDeleteLove this post! Thanks for your comment on my blog--glad you like vintage too. You have it down pat with your introduction here--vintage is not something that should be left in the past as a type of dressing up costume, (although of course it can be, and some do it very well and live like this every day). I esp like the striped blazer with the strappy shoes--they echo each other just right.
ReplyDeleteI love the wedges!!!! You look great! :)
